When I’m at an event, whether it be my cousin’s wedding or my sister’s sweet sixteen, my favorite part is always dessert. I sit around chatting with those around me, waiting for someone to bring out the last course, the most sweet and delicious one. It’s very common to have cake, ice cream, and small treats at the end of the night, but a really creative and more interesting dessert to serve at an event is cupcakes! No matter what type of social gathering you’re planning on having, cupcakes always make everything sweeter! What’s so great about these delicious treats is that they are extremely versatile for every occasion! With the help of a cake decorator, you can design your cupcakes any way you would like. For a wedding, you can use absolutely any piece of the event to design the little cakes-the color set, the floral arrangements, the wedding gown, or any ideas from the bride and groom to make their day extra special. Many times, couples bring pieces of cloth from the event to the cake decorator to show them exactly what style and texture they would like on each cupcake. These are also good for any season because you can dress them up however you’d like! A cute idea is writing a small saying on each cupcake or the date of the beautiful day
Also, have you ever heard of mini cupcakes before? Yes, they get even smaller! Although I love the size of regular cupcakes, I will admit they are a little hard to eat sometimes. With mini cupcakes, they are easily able to be popped right into your mouth in only one or two bites! That way, there are no crumbs or messes.
If you are planning a graduation, everyone loves the typical cupcakes that are colored towards either the high school the student has recently graduated from or the college they will be going to in the fall. A cool idea is having the school’s mascot on top of each cupcake!
If the upcoming party is a birthday for a younger child, a fun and festive way to style the cupcakes is making them into ice cream cones! It is extremely easy to bake cupcakes into ice cream cones. All you have to do is place the cones on a cupcake tray, pour the batter into the cones, and stick them in the oven! Once they cool, you can top each one off with some icing or even ice cream for a cool, delicious treat! Everyone will be talking about them!
According to my mom, a cupcake is “a little piece of happiness personally for you!” So why wouldn’t you want to have delicious cupcakes at all of your fun events?! Comment below what you think about these awesome cupcake ideas and if you have ever tried making cupcakes as a dessert for any of your own events!
