Imagine: you take your first step into the reception room or area, wherever it is, and there are candles, everywhere. Candles on tables, suspended from trees, floating in water. Doesn’t that sound picturesque and magical? Something that can make or break your event is the lighting. You want to have the perfect lighting and the perfect amount of lighting in order to create the best atmosphere for your wedding. One thing that can make your wedding even more romantic is placing candles throughout the room or area that the reception is in.
Including candles within the decorations in the reception room or area creates a magical and intimate appearance, no matter how big the reception area is. Candles automatically create a warm atmosphere when lit and are put throughout a room. Placing candles in the right places will create the perfect amount of glow for the area that surrounds them. If the candles are lit right before the start of the reception, they should last up to eight hours, depending on what type of candles they are.
There are so many ways that you can decorate with candles. Like mentioned above, having candles floating in water is a popular way to display candles and not have them directly on the table. You can have many different heights for the vases that the floating candles are placed in, to make things for symmetrical or asymmetrical. Besides water, you also have the option of putting different things such as flowers, stones, or sticks in the vase to make them match the rest of the décor.
