At weddings, the lighting at the venue is everything! If the lights don’t brighten up the night, then it might not be as spectacular as your dreams. Depending on your style for the day, there are many different ways to set up lights around the reception area. The venue may come with chandeliers around the room or small candles on each table, but to make it your own, it’s a great idea to look into creative ways to light up the night!
A beautiful way to create an earthy look for the evening is stringing lights from the ceiling if your reception is in a large tent or room.
Another way to create a warm and welcoming feel to the party is by dimming the lights and using mason jar candles all around the room or hanging lanterns high above.
The centerpiece of the room is considered to be the dance floor so make sure to have this area very lit up to encourage dancing and fun! You can stream lights or hang lanterns specifically above this area to make it extra special.
