Bridal Beauty Basics Workshop

On Sunday, June 23rd, Trilogy Event Design held its inaugural workshop - Bridal Beauty Basics. Targeted to brides and event professionals, the afternoon was designed to provide hair and make-up advice to our attendees.

Upon opening Trilogy, one of the ideas our team had was to set up a monthly series of events regarding a different facet of wedding planning featuring a panel of experts in the respective field. When discussing potential subjects, the first one we decided upon was a beauty workshop with an interactive Q&A as well as live demonstrations.

Annemarie Sauder and Suzanne Sauder of Taire Hair Salon led off the day with tips regarding the best hair style to fit different cuts of gowns, what you should expect with a hair trial, and why it is important to start your hair care process earlier rather than later.

As the discussion shifted from hair to make-up, Blush and BrushesCharlotte Erace, and Mary Kay rep Gina Toth reviewed the importance of skin preparation in the months leading up to the wedding, using make-up to highlight your eyes, and how to minimize sweating on the big day.

Trilogy Event Design's Chief Event Planner Randi Martin facilitated the panel discussion leaving no stone unturned with regards to important wedding day questions that our attendees may have forgotten to ask during the Q&A. Once the discussion was complete, our attendees were treated to hair and make-up trials to help them get their wheels turning on what they should do for their wedding day.
